Meet Jeff and Kenni — the couple behind Journey, united by a love of travel, food and wine.
Together, they’ve explored more than 100 countries and Journey is inspired by the places, cultures and flavours they’ve experienced side by side. The menu draws on global techniques and ideas, reimagined through a playful, immersive fine dining experience.
Chef Patron, Jeff brings the culinary vision to Journey, shaped by rigorous training in Michelin starred kitchens. Jeff refined his craft under Chef Gareth Ward at the two Michelin-starred Ynyshir, before continuing his career at renowned restaurants including The Fat Duck in Bray. He has developed a style that balances technical precision with curiosity, creativity and a relentless focus on flavour. Inspired by years of travelling the world with Kenni, Jeff transforms memorable flavours, ingredients and experiences into dishes that are bold, playful and unexpected. His cooking is designed to surprise, delight and spark conversation, taking guests on a journey of their own.
Sommelier, Kenni curates their travels to maximise discovery and brings a deep passion for wine and hospitality. Alongside her career as a qualified Project Manager by day , she has dedicated years to developing her wine knowledge through formal study and global exploration, bringing a thoughtful and adventurous approach to Journey’s wine pairings. With a keen eye for detail and a genuine love of creating memorable experiences, Kenni oversees every aspect of the guest journey. From selecting unusual wine pairings inspired by their travels to refining the finer details of service, she ensures every visit feels seamless, welcoming and unforgettable.
